Thomas A. Coss

Here’s the deal in health care: you and I are the only ones that  live with the consequences of clinical and care decisions that are made – no one else.  Others may be affected for certain, but you do the healing, deal with the pain, and in the end, do the dying; that’s the simple truth.

So what are you going to do?  Do you blindly presume your physician knows what’s best, or do you investigte on your own?  If your local facility has a poor history of clinical outcomes, but the best facility 100 miles away, where will you go?

Though we can argue about how we will pay for the healthcare we receive, the matter of who lives with the results remains clear, this is what CossEffective is about.
